I thought I'd show one of the most helpful programs I have ever used. It is called Launchy. Launchy is a small lightweight program used to access other programs and places on your computer, even websites.

I thought I'd show one of the most helpful programs I have ever used. It is called Launchy. Launchy is a small lightweight program used to access other programs and places on your computer, even websites.
This program will let you have absolutely no icons on your desktop and be just as efficient if not more than before...
You press ALT+SPACE and a small window opens with a text box. When you type, it slowly narrows down a list of programs that could be being attempted to access by said user.
Say I type in
"Wo"
It will consider Microsoft Word, World of Warcraft or WordPad.
If I type in "Worl" it will decide on world of warcraft, if I still don't think this is correct I can press the down arrow to open a list of other similar programs.
I could also type in "F" and bring up World of Warcraft. It becomes more decisive if you use the program more often, you could type in less to bring up a program you use more.
If I play WoW a lot, typing in W automatically brings up WoW.
So basically, Launchy is one kickass crazy program and it makes life a whole lot easier.
And, because pirates hate paying, its free.
